A rare find, this large solid pine antique European settle bench features a striking original green paint, large storage drawer and unique hand carved back rest. Similar benches date from the late 19th to early 20th century. The paint has been perfectly worn in all the heavy touch spots creating beautiful evidence of this pieces history through the aged patina. Drawer has two porcelain knobs. So much soulful character in this unique primitive piece!

One small crack at the left bottom side of drawer, and left side back splat has slight separation from bench seat, see photos for reference.
