Welcome to My Cozy Corner: Home Decor Inspired by the Pacific Northwest

Hi there! I’m Julianne, and I’m so excited to welcome you to my blog, where I’ll be sharing my passion for home decor, design tips, and the beautiful journey of creating a warm and inviting space in my semi-custom home nestled in the stunning Pacific Northwest.

Living in the PNW has always been a source of inspiration for me. The lush forests, breathtaking mountains, and serene coastlines have shaped my aesthetic and influenced many of the decisions I make decorating my home.

The Journey of Building Our Home

Like many, we found ourselves with unexpected time on our hands during the pandemic. Instead of dwelling on the uncertainty, my husband and I decided to take the plunge and essentially DIY renovate the kitchen in our first family home. Shortly after we sold that house in order to jump right in to building the home we live in now. It was both exhilarating and daunting! I documented every step of the process on Instagram— from the early blueprints to selecting the perfect tiles and paint colors.

Sharing our journey turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. I loved connecting with others who were navigating similar projects, exchanging ideas and tips along the way. As my Instagram page began to grow, I realized that people were genuinely interested in the details of our home and the inspiration behind my choices.

Helping Others with Home Design

As my following expanded, so did my passion for helping others with their home design projects. It was incredibly rewarding to guide friends and followers through their own design dilemmas, offering suggestions to help others create a comfortable and beautiful home to be proud of. Whether it was a simple refresh or a more significant makeover, I’ve enjoyed inspiring others and helping them turn their own visions into reality.

I believe that a home should be a sanctuary—a place where you can feel at peace and surrounded by things that you love. My goal is to inspire others to create spaces that reflect their own stories without sacrificing beauty and comfort.
